ThreeFold is a fully comprehensive peer-to-peer Internet and Cloud stack that allows any digital workload to be hosted on its efficient decentralized infrastructure. The platform, founded in 2016, aims to provide universal access to a smart contract-based infrastructure. The ThreeFold Token (TFT) is a utility token that enables the exchange of Internet and Cloud resources without intermediaries. It was founded by Kristof de Spiegeleer and his team, who initially began building the first data centre in Europe with PSI Net. ThreeFold was built from scratch on the Linux Kernel and its technology offers quantum security and substantial energy savings. There is a total and maximum supply of 4,000,000,000 TFT tokens, with 75% of the total token supply allocated to node operators and ecosystem incentivization.
